Make a monthly reading wrap-up worth sharing

A wrap-up is the one post that makes a reading month feel real: the covers, the page count, the favourite. Here is what to include and how to build one in a few taps.

What belongs in a wrap-up

• Covers — the grid of everything you finished; the visual anchor of the post.
• Books finished — the headline number.
• Pages read — the effort behind the number.
• Average rating — the tone of the month.
• A favourite — one book you would hand to a friend.

Why 9:16

Instagram Stories, TikTok and Reels covers all use a 9:16 frame (1080×1920). Anything square gets cropped or floats awkwardly. Designing for 9:16 from the start keeps titles readable and covers crisp.

Generate it automatically

1. Open the Calendar tab and pick the month.
2. Tap Monthly wrap-up.
3. Choose the card theme so it matches your feed.
4. Download the 1080×1920 image, or share it straight to Stories with a link back to your tracker.

Everything is filled in from books you already logged, so there is no manual counting: finish dates, page counts and ratings drive the whole card.

Small touches that make it look good

• Keep covers to a tidy grid — a "+3" overlay beats a cramped mosaic.
• Use one accent colour and let the covers provide the rest.
• Post on the first or second day of the month, while the memory is fresh.
• Add one honest sentence about the month; the numbers alone rarely land.
