Booked & Beautiful

Pillar guide

Reading goals and challenges

A goal works when it is small enough to hit on a bad week and visible enough to remember on a good one. This guide covers picking a yearly number, turning it into challenges you enjoy, and reviewing each month so the habit compounds.

Pick a number you can defend

Take how many books you finished last year and add a little, not double. Then convert it into pages per week — that is the unit you actually control. A yearly goal plus a weekly page pace beats a big round number nobody reaches by December.
